Tokyo golden Gai – Tiny seedy bars!

One of my most favorite places in Japan, shinjuku golden gai, is filled with the smallest and cutest bars that you ever find.

Recently we went to o a family members wedding and we’re lucky enough to check out Golden Gai in the afternoon. Such a seedy little place. I love it.

Looking forward to taking a few friends there in September.

So many cool bars. Each only holding 4-5 people at a time. I highly recommend checking it out. The seedy side of Tokyo is just full of interesting places to explore!

Youtube Post – Sky Tree

Two weeks ago we headed over to Tokyo for a wedding, so we decided to check out Tokyo Sky Tree beforehand and see what all the fuss was about. I posted a few pictures earlier but I decided to make a video out of some of the footage I took on my iPhone. The view was amazing. I thought it would be a bit boring as going up a tower isn’t really something I am interested in, but it was better than I thought it would be.

The Views were unbelievable and all the people you could see looked like tiny ants which was nice. On clear days you can see Mount Fuji it seems.

Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think. Hope I can post more of these videos. I wish I had more time to animate them and do some nice video edits, but I work just a little too much to be able to do that.

Eternally captured in a Japanese Game show online..

Ilove my work. I really do. I love working on new projects and thinking of new ways to help our clients. So much so that a few of the projects I work on I end up doing most of the roles involved in the project. For example, our Party Game digital contents.

I was the producer, the director, the motion graphics artist, the audio dude, and the actress…

Which, as being the actress as well as the rest, means now I am eternally captured in my clients party game video, for as long as youtube exists (and rakuten!).

I never really think about these things. As the work comes first. My embarrassment when my best friend finds these videos and then plays them at our christmas party doesn’t really matter to me (true story). Forever engraved on the Keihin king youtube channel!

I think this time we managed to do a better job and make some very interesting game videos. Not as embarrassing as last. I do like my video projects.

Have a look and see what you think. My future children and grandchildren will have a few things to laugh about I hope.

Tokyo Sky Tree

To be completely honest, I wasn’t very interested in visiting the newly built sky tree in Tokyo. It seemed like just another gimmick and something for people to spend loads of money on. However, by a chance trip to Tokyo for a family wedding, we found ourselves at sky tree for a look around.

Seeing it up close was very interesting! There was a town called “solamachi” underneath it. Full of fun shops, restaurants and the occasional museum.

The little star character wasn’t so bad either. She was everywhere!

The view was superb! Overall a very interesting and worthwhile trip. Now one of my favorite places to visit.

In the summer there is a beer garden underneath  the tower! Highly recommended.
